Job description

Overview

HGV Technician – Location: Leicester. Pay: Up to £51,480 (depending on experience and qualifications). Hours: 45 per week. Shifts: Rotating Mon - Fri 6:00am - 3:30pm / 12:30pm - 10:00pm. +£1.20 per hour for late shift.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections on HGVs and LCVs
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to a high standard
• Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and ensuring compliance with DVSA regulations
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently
• Maintaining accurate service and repair records
• Working as part of a team to meet deadlines and ensure workshop efficiency
• Upholding health & safety standards within the workshop
