Job summary

SCANIA (GREAT BRITAIN) LIMITED in Inverness is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to service, diagnose and repair heavy vehicles. The role operates on a rotating shift pattern with day and backshift slots and offers on‑site work in a busy workshop environment.

You will join a team committed to safety, quality workmanship and ongoing professional development, with opportunities for training and career progression within Scania’s National Learning Academy.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs.
• Rotating shift work and safety procedures knowledge.
• Ability to read manuals and follow maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs.
• Diagnose faults and perform corrective actions to vehicle systems.
• Maintain clean, safe and orderly workshop environment.

HGV Technician – Inverness

Rotating shift pattern: Days 7.00-15.30 / Backshift 15.00-23.30

£17.90 to £21.82 per hour (dependant on experience), plus an excellent benefits package, including:
