Qualifications

  • Experience in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and fault diagnosis is essential.
  • Must hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.

  • Service customer vehicles and ensure all paperwork is processed accurately.

Job description

As part of our team at Volvo you will work as part of an experienced and friendly team with the offer of a fantastic basic salary plus the opportunity for overtime and a quarterly bonus.

Do you want to join one of the automotive industry’s leading names? Would our fantastic rotational shift pattern (day shift/back shift) help your work-life balance?

Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?

The Role – some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
  • Assist in the fault diagnosis process
  • Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
  • Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
  • Assist with roadside breakdowns.
  • Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
  • Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
  • Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well-maintained
  • Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
