We are currently representing a reputable and growing company based in the scenic region of North Devon. Our client is a leader in the logistics and transportation industry, renowned for their commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

They are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Technician to join our team. The successful HGV Technician candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our fleet of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a supportive and dynamic environment.

My client seeks anyone with Experience in Vehicle Mechanics, ideally you will have HGV experience but this is not essential as my client are happy to train up any promising applicants

Key Responsibilities as a HGV Technician:

- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of HGVs
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Perform scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are carried out to high standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the fleet

Requirements as a HGV Technician:

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving license (HGV license preferred but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
