HGV Technician / HGV Fitter

Working Hours:
Days: Rolling 4 on 4 off shift 7am-7pm,
Nights: Fixed Tuesday - Friday
Salary: £45K plus benefits
£2,500 joining bonus (upon successful completion of probation)
23 days of holiday (plus bank holidays) with the option to purchase more

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Commercial Dealer based in the Preston area.

The successful HGV Technician / HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £45,000 basic.

Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter to join their busy team. This is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Typical Duties of a HGV Technician for our client include, but are not limited to:

1. Servicing, repair and maintenance of HGVs
2. Completion of job sheets and documentation
3. Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
4. Completion of MOT preparation

Requirements of this HGV Technician vacancy:

1. Previous working experience within the role
2. Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
3. Excellent mechanical knowledge
4. A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
