HGV Technician

HGV Technician - up to £40,000 - Private Health Insurance

We are looking for a HGV mechanic to join a transport company based near Halstead, Essex. This small but supportive family business is looking for a technician to help work on their vehicle fleet.

You will ideally be an experienced technician with heavy goods experience; however, the company would be open to considering a lower-level candidate providing they have some commercial experience.

Starting salary will be up to £40,000 depending on experience. Working hours are 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday.

Duties:

1. Perform maintenance and servicing of fleet vehicles
2. Prepare vehicles for MOTs
3. Carry out diagnostics and troubleshooting
4. Carry out other workshop tasks as needed

Experience needed:

1. Working with Commercial/HGV vehicles
2. Able to repair and diagnose faults and issues
3. Proven experience as a mechanic
