Are you a level 3 qualified HGV Technician looking for a role based in Doncaster?

HGV Technician

Location: Doncaster

Role: Permanent

Working Hours: 3 Week Shift Rota (days only) 48 Hour Working Week

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful HGV Technician to work with a market leading presence across the UK, within the agricultural sector. Due to recent expansion of their fleet, they now require an additional HGV Technician to join the existing team where duties will involve:

  1. Inspecting, reporting, repairing and servicing trailers, vehicles, and factory transport.
  2. Conducting pre-MOT checks to DVSA/VOSA standards.
  3. General garage housekeeping.
  4. Completing paperwork in relation to the above tasks.
  5. Any other ad hoc duties, as required.

It is expected that the successful HGV Technician will have:

  1. Full UK Driving Licence HGV Class C+E licence is essential.
  2. Hold an industry recognised qualification, either City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3.
  3. Previous HGV mechanical experience.
  4. Good knowledge of H&S practices.
  5. Excellent mechanical diagnostic skills.
  6. Good attention to detail.
  7. Excellent communication skills.
  8. Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines.
  9. Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
