Job summary

A leading automotive service provider in Essex is looking for a skilled HGV Technician. Responsibilities include maintaining vehicles to VOSA standards, diagnosing vehicle issues, and providing emergency repair services. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience and Level 3 HGV qualifications. This is a full-time role with alternating shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years proven experience as an HGV Technician.
• Strong ability to diagnose vehicle issues accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance to meet VOSA standards.
• Diagnose vehicle equipment and prepare for MOT inspections.
• Maintain records of repaired or handled vehicles.
• Provide repair services to clients in case of emergencies.
• Complete relevant documentation and warranty claims.

Our Client is one of the largest Main Dealerships in the UK with a number of sites over the nation, are thriving due to new business and would need a highly skilled and self-motived HGV Technician to join their Essex Depot.

• Vehicle maintenance to meet VOSA standards
• Diagnosis of vehicle equipment and preparation of vehicles for MOT inspections
• Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled
• Providing repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies
• Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management
• HGV Technician Level 3 qualifications or equivalent
• Excellent diagnostic skills
• Proven HGV Technician experience (minimum 5 years)
