Job summary

A leading automotive recruitment agency is seeking an HGV Technician in Grays. The ideal candidate will have excellent mechanical knowledge and be fully qualified to NVQ Level 3. Responsibilities include servicing and repairing HGVs, as well as completion of necessary documentation. The position offers a salary up to £53,890 per annum, with optional overtime and extensive benefits including holiday and pension contributions.

Overview

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Truck Dealership based in the Grays area.

Salary and Schedule

The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £53,890 with working hours of 45 hours per week.

Benefits

• Hourly Rate: up to £23.03; Annual Salary: £53,890.20 p.a.
• Overtime: Time and a Half; opportunities to work additional shifts, early starts or later finishes to scheduled shifts.
• Saturdays: optional; paid at Time and a Half if worked; shift 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
• Company Benefits: Pension scheme (5%), 25 days of holiday + bank holidays (which increases with service), cinema and various retail discounts.

Typical Duties

• Servicing, repair and maintenance of HGVs
• Completion of job sheets and documentation
• Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department

Requirements

• Previous working experience within the role
