HGV Technician

Depot Location: Haydock

Working Hours: 4 On 4 Off, 6pm to 6am nights available (Paid 30 min Lunch)

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: Nights = £22.60ph + overtime paid at time and a half, £45,000 to £50,000 Per Annum

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on day and night shifts.

Working in an established team of HGV Technicians, you will be required to undertake the following:

  1. Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
  2. General Servicing and MOT preparation
  3. Fault finding & diagnostics
  4. Updating all required paperwork / databases

The successful HGV Technician will have the following attributes:

  • Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
  • Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance.
  • A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage but isn't essential.
