HGV Technician

Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday-Friday, rotating shifts

• 06:30 - 15:30
• 09:00 - 18:00

Location: Baths Road, Bromley, BR2 9RB

What will you be doing?

• Routine maintenance and repairs on RCVs, waste management, and light commercial vehicles
• Diagnose and rectify faults in a well-equipped workshop
• Handle vehicles carefully and adhere to safety protocols
• Coordinate with the Workshop manager for parts
• Follow health & safety regulations
• Complete job cards and service sheets promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness
• Attend training to stay current with product knowledge

What are we looking for?

• Flexibility to perform various tasks
• Strong mechanical repair knowledge
• Understanding of health and safety standards
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle mechanics or equivalent
• Class C Licence (desirable, training available)
• Knowledge of HGV MOT regulations
• IRTEC Licence and/or Waste/RCV vehicle experience (desirable)
