HGV Technician

Depot Location: Avonmouth

Working Hours: Week 1 Monday-Friday 07:00-15:30, Week 2 Monday-Thursday 15:30-00:00, Friday 13:30-22:00, plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings paid at time & a half

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: Basic = £45,600 OTW = £50,000 Per Annum

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a rotating shift.

Working in an established team of HGV Technicians, you will be required to undertake the following:

  1. Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
  2. General Servicing and MOT preparation
  3. Fault finding & diagnostics
  4. Updating all required paperwork / databases

The successful HGV Technician will have the following attributes:

  • Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
  • Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
  • A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage but isn't essential
