Job Title: HGV Technician

Location: Bristol, BS35 3UT (Main), Thornbury

Salary: £42,744 + £6,004 premium

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 22:00-06:00

Responsibilities:

• Servicing & maintaining HGVs to safety and performance standards
• Diagnosing & repairing electrical and mechanical faults
• Handling breakdowns & reactive maintenance with a focus on first-time fixes
• Following manufacturer guidelines to ensure fleet roadworthiness
• Accurately recording all work completed

Candidate Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Experience with HGVs in a fast-paced environment, preferably in distribution/logistics
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Class 1 license is desirable but support is available to obtain it
