A leading vehicle maintenance company is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for a night shift role in Brighouse. The ideal candidate will have full industry qualifications and experience in Truck & Trailer maintenance. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of £22.55, along with overtime and a comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance and a strong pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognized apprenticeship.

  • A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.

  • Conduct General Servicing and MOT preparation.

HGV Technician

Depot Location: Brighouse

Shift: Monday to Thursday & Tuesday to Friday

Working Hours: 6pm to 6am Nights (48 Hours Paid)

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £22.55ph + overtime paid at time and a half

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a night shift.

Working in an established team of HGV Technicians, you will be required to undertake the following:

  1. Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
  2. General Servicing and MOT preparation
  3. Fault finding & diagnostics
  4. Updating all required paperwork / databases

The successful HGV Technician will have the following attributes:

  • Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
  • Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
  • A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage but is not essential
