Qualifications

Are you an experienced HGV Technician ready for your next challenge? We’re expanding our busy Bridgwater Depot and are looking for a proactive and skilled Workshop Technician to join our team full-time. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of in-house fleet repairs, work with a supportive team, and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.

What We Offer

Competitive Pay:

  • £20.03 per hour
  • Overtime after 47.5 hours: £25.04 per hour
  • Enhanced Weekend Rates:
    • Saturday: £25.04 per hour
    • Sunday: £30.05 per hour

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday – Friday with occasional weekends
  • 10 hrs a day – flexible start times
Your Role
  • Inspect and maintain our HGV fleet to meet both legal and company standards
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT and handle transport to the Test Centre
  • Record defects and maintain accurate service records
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including minor accident damage
  • Work with a range of vehicles, trailers, and ancillary equipment
  • Deliver high standards of customer service and collaborate effectively with the wider team
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in a similar role (essential)
  • Hands-on commercial HGV experience
  • A can-do attitude and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
  • Attention to detail with excellent record-keeping

Qualifications
