HGV Technician


Depot Location: Blackburn


Working Hours: 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday


Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent role


Financial Package: £39,500 to £42,000 per annum


My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician to join their experienced team.


Working in an established team of HGV Technicians, you will be required to undertake the following:

  1. Carry out repairs highlighted during initial inspections
  2. General servicing and MOT preparation
  3. Fault finding & diagnostics
  4. Updating all required paperwork/databases

The successful HGV Technician will have the following attributes:

  1. Hold full industry qualifications and have completed a recognised apprenticeship
  2. Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer maintenance
  3. A commercial licence is advantageous but not essential
  4. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, maintenance, and repair
