Duties
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Carry out MOT preparation.
  • Perform diagnostics to identify issues using schematics and electrical experience.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and equipment repair.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used for inventory management.
  • Undertake heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
Skills
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HGV maintenance and repair.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting methods for HGVs.
  • Competence in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
