HGV TECHNICIAN

OTE: GBP50,000+ Per Annum

HGV Technician Job Details

• Basic Salary: GBP43,781 per annum
• Working Hours: 40 hours/week - No Weekends
• Schedule: Week 1 - Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30; Week 2 - Monday to Friday, 12:30-21:00
• Location: Nuneaton

Any overtime worked is paid at Time and a Half after the 40-hour contract is completed.

This role emphasizes work-life balance, with no weekends and a focus on quality over quantity, avoiding high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards
• Prepare and present vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection
• Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment
• Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to H&S requirements
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately

Skills and Qualifications

• Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
• HGV license is an advantage
