Job summary

McAllister, part of Vortex Companies, is hiring class 1 or 2 HGV drivers to operate our tankers and sewer repair lining vehicles from our Horsham depot. Full training will be provided to become a drain and sewer repair engineer, with a focus on safety and quality.

You will cover Hampshire, East and West Sussex and Kent, commuting daily to Horsham. The role includes night shifts, weekends and some overtime, requiring effective communication with customers and colleagues across the business.

Qualifications

• Full UK HGV class 1 or 2 driving license (preferably no more than 3 points)
• Must be able to commute to Horsham daily
• Two years driving experience required
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Willing to undertake training and development as appropriate
• Operate in accordance with Safety and Quality Procedures

Responsibilities

• Drive tankers and sewer repair lining vehicles for drainage projects
• Visit various client sites including commercial, residential, and industrial
• Communicate effectively and politely with customers and colleagues
• Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and overtime
• Operate in alignment with H&S and Quality Procedures
