Job summary

McAllister Bros Ltd, part of Vortex Companies, is seeking a Class 1/2 HGV driver to operate our tanker and sewer repair lining vehicles from the Horsham depot. You will work across Hampshire, East and West Sussex, and Kent, with training provided to become a drain and sewer repair engineer.

We value organization, teamwork, and a proactive approach. Roles require willingness to work nights, weekends and overtime as part of a 24/7 operation, and a valid UK HGV license with minimal points.

Qualifications

• Full UK HGV class 1 or 2 license (preferably no more than 3 points).
• Must be well organized and have a positive can-do attitude.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• You will visit various types of clients and sites, and must communicate effectively and politely with customers and colleagues.
• Willing to undertake training and development as appropriate.
• Be able to work using your own initiative.
• Must operate in accordance with our H&S and Quality Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive our tankers and sewer repair lining vehicles.
• Visit various client sites, from commercial, residential, and industrial, and communicate politely with customers and colleagues.
• Commute daily to the Horsham depot.
• Cover areas Hampshire, East and West Sussex and Kent.
• Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and early starts as we operate 24/7.

We are looking for class 1 & 2 HGV drivers to drive our tankers and sewer repair lining vehicles. Full training will be provided to become a drain and sewer repair engineer.

Our depot is located in Horsham, must be able to commute there daily.

Areas we cover are Hampshire, East and West Sussex and Kent.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

• CSCS, HPWJ, Confined Space, NRSWA Signing, Lighting & Guarding, are desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
• Must be well organized and have a positive can-do attitude
• Be able to work as part of a team
• You will visit various types of clients and sites, from commercial, residential, and industrial therefore it is essential you are able to communicate effectively and politely with customers and colleagues throughout the business
• Willing to undertake training and development as appropriate
• Be able to work using your own initiative
• Must operate in accordance with our H&S and Quality Procedures
• Full UK HGV class 1 or 2 driving license (preferably no more than 3 points)
• Must be flexible as you will be required to carry out a reasonable amount of overtime
• Be willing to work nights, weekends and early starts as we operative 24/7
• 2 years driving experience.
