Job summary

Ex‑Mil Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an HGV Shunter/Fleet & Yard Operative in Saltney, Chester. The role focuses on movement, preparation and upkeep of a fleet of trucks and trailers, with site-based, Monday‑to‑Friday duties.

You will work with the Transport Manager to ensure vehicles are prepared, maintained and ready for operations, with occasional overnight stays depending on requirements.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence is essential.
• Valid Driver CPC required.
• Experience driving and manoeuvring HGVs and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Shunt HGVs and trailers between yards and facilities.
• Transport vehicles to garages and testing facilities for servicing.
