At RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire, Serco has been providing multi-activity and engineering support since 1997. Serco proudly supports the RAF and MoD, supplying around 20 different services onsite, from engine and aircraft maintenance to fueling and ground control services.
RAF Brize Norton is the largest operating base within the Royal Air Force, providing air transport and air-to-air refueling to the RAF fleet. You will contribute significantly to the vital work carried out here and be part of the wider team, which includes 5,800 service personnel, 1,200 contractors, and 300 civil servants.
Mon-Fri, 40 hours/week
07:00 - 16:00 Mon-Thu
07:00 - 13:00 Fri
Standby out-of-hours commitment – standby duty from home Mon-Fri, including weekend Runway Arrestor Gear Daily Checks (07:30 - 08:30 Sat and Sun). Standby weeks, including weekends, are typically required every 6 weeks and attract additional pay. On-the-job training will be provided.
Ensure maintenance, paperwork, and services are completed accurately and first-time right.
