Location: Wandsworth, London SW 0LF

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am - finish

Serco’s Environmental Services provide a complete waste and recycling service for the residents and community in Wandsworth. Our team of Street Cleansing staff work to keep streets, homes, and businesses clean, safe, and tidy, while delivering excellent customer service. We are currently looking for dedicated HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team of essential workers, helping us make a positive environmental impact.

You will be the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services, ensuring vehicle safety checks are completed daily and your truck is clean and ready before your route. Your team of Refuse Loaders will then collect waste and recycling from residential and commercial properties, contributing to a cleaner, safer community.

Our team includes managers who started as Loaders and Drivers, providing opportunities for career growth and development, including training for qualifications like Transport Manager CPC, Team Leader, and Management courses.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 driving licence
• Driver CPC
• Enthusiasm and a friendly attitude
• Willingness to assist Loaders on rounds
• Physical fitness for heavy lifting and walking

Experience in refuse collection and street cleansing is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
