Job description

Role: HGV Refrigerated Class 2 Driver

Location: Ivybridge

Are you an experienced HGV class 2 driver looking for a flexible role doing early morning / early finish shifts? We would be looking to take on drivers to complete various routes all over Devon and Cornwall delivering chilled / caged goods to shops and small supermarkets.

About the job.

• Pay is will be between £16.81 - £25.21 (ADVANCED pay rate which includes holiday accrual - optional) depending on the hours and days you work.


• Work will come in on a flexible, ad-hoc basis. Full time and permanent roles will like come up for the right candidates.


• Shifts could be booked any day of the week or weekend.


• Shifts typically start around 05:30 in the morning.


• PAYE. (Internal payroll - we don't use umbrella companies!)


• Pension contribution & holiday accrual.


• Weekly pay.


• Delivering to refrigerated wholesale goods around Devon and Cornwall.

Job requirements.

• A full and valid Category C (Class 2) licence with an in date CPC and digi cards are required with no more than 6 points & no DR, DD or IN convictions for insurance purposes.


• Previous experience with class 2 multidrop driving, cages and refrigerated goods would be advantageous.


• The ability to lift and carry items throughout the day, as well as driving, is a requirement due to the physical nature of the job.
