Overview

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Bury area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers (C&E and C) to join the team.

Roles
  • HGV Class 1 Nights
  • HGV Class 2 Nights
Shifts
  • Class 1 Nights - Across Sunday to Friday (weekends are required)
  • Class 2 Nights - Across Monday to Sunday (weekends are required)
Hours
  • Class 1 Nights - Between 22:00 and 23:59 start times
  • Class 2 Nights - Between 21:00 and 23:59 start times
Pay Rate
  • Class 1 Nights £18.42 per hour PAYE
  • Class 2 Nights - £17.59 per hour PAYE

The role
  • Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
  • Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
  • Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
  • Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E and C).
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
