Overview of role

The main function of this role is to deliver bakery products to our customers. You will be responsible for in-store merchandising, ordering, and minimizing waste. Hours of work will be based on a rotating shift pattern across a 7-day week with start times to be confirmed (flexibility required). This is a physically demanding role requiring physical ability to perform tasks.

Key Accountabilities

1. Engage in the Safety-First culture and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
2. Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain tachograph records, control procedures, and working time regulations.
3. Maximize sales and develop relations with key store decision makers.
4. Check and amend load variances, ensure correct charging and record returns.
5. Deliver products on time and in full within the scheduled windows.
6. Collect baskets daily and return any collected returns to the bakery for disposal.
7. Participate in sharing best practices within the sales team.

The Right Person

Experienced Professional Driver Category 2 (Category C) with Driver Qualification Card (CPC). Effective communication skills, flexibility, and experience in delivery or sales environments are desirable. Digital drivers card and merchandising experience are preferred. Experience in Category C + E is a plus.
