Our specialties include Construction, Waste Management, Plant Hire, Demolition, and Transport.

What are we looking for?

We seek an experienced and competent HGV technician to join our team.

Hourly rate: £17.00-£21.50 per hour (dependent on experience)

Overtime: Overtime is encouraged and paid at time and a half.

Hours: Full-time and part-time roles available with flexible working hours to be discussed at the interview stage.

Location: Working at our new flagship transport workshop near Gloucester (GL2 7ND).

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, fault finding, and repair of vehicle electrical systems on refuse vehicles and ancillary equipment.
• Focus on preventative maintenance for refuse vehicles.
• Support workshop technicians in fault finding and diagnostics upskilling.
• Conduct six-weekly inspections to a high standard, ensuring defects are identified and repaired efficiently, with a focus on ‘first time fix’.
• Inspect and prepare vehicles for MOT, ensuring they exceed required standards.
• Repair damage defects to a high standard, maintaining our brand image.
