Hgv Mechanic / Technician

We are looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic / Technician to join our clients team in Stockport.

Our client is a growing Haulage and Drainage company that operates across the North West, and are looking to expand their team of in-house mechanics.

The primary responsibilities in this role are:

1. Carrying out Fleet Maintenance, PMIs, and reactive works on HGVs, Walking Floors, and Fleet Cars, completing all the necessary paperwork.
2. Preparing HGVs, Walking Floors, and Cabs for MOTs - keeping records, scheduling work, etc.
3. Attending roadside breakdowns and rectifying defects on vehicles.
4. Diagnostic and electrical experience would be highly beneficial in this role.

There is a minimum of 40 hours per week guaranteed in this role with regular overtime opportunities and an out-of-hours rota at an uplifted rate.
