An established industry player is seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic/Technician to join their expanding team in Stockport. This role offers a minimum of 40 hours per week with opportunities for overtime and an out-of-hours rota at an increased rate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fleet maintenance, preparing vehicles for MOTs, and attending roadside breakdowns. We are looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic / Technician to join our client's team in Stockport.

Our client is a growing Haulage and Drainage company that operates across the North West and is looking to expand their team of in-house mechanics.

The primary responsibilities in this role are:

Carrying out Fleet Maintenance, PMI's, and reactive works on HGV's, WALKING FLOORS, and Fleet Cars, completing all the necessary paperwork.
Preparing HGV's, WALKING FLOORS, and CABS for MOT's - keeping records, scheduling work, etc.
Attending roadside breakdowns and rectifying defects on vehicles.
Diagnostic and electrical experience would be highly beneficial in this role.

There is a minimum of 40 hours per week guaranteed in this role with regular overtime opportunities and an out-of-hours rota at an uplifted rate.
