Job Description:

Join TIP Group, a leading equipment services provider in Europe and Canada, specializing in truck and trailer leasing, rental, maintenance, and repair. We offer a dynamic work environment where teamwork, safety, and skill enhancement are paramount. For our workshop in Southampton, we're looking for a HGV Mechanic.

Salary £38,000 - £44,000 according to level of experience and qualification.

Company pension with 4% employer/4% employee contribution

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, service, and repair trailers to high maintenance standards, ensuring compliance with company EHS guidelines and legislation.
• Complete all compliance details accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service within specified deadlines.
• Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate TIP values and behaviors consistently.

Qualifications:

• Time-served technician or City & Guilds 1, 2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent experience in trailer repairs.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Enthusiastic with good communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to complete written documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads.
• Ability to work autonomously if required.
