Responsibilities include inspecting and diagnosing HGV components, performing engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.

Qualifications

• Relevant certifications or apprenticeship in heavy vehicle mechanics.
• Experience working as an HGV Mechanic or similar role.
• Competence in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in HGVs.
• Proficient use of diagnostic tools and equipment for heavy vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and professional attitude.
• Valid driving license suitable for HGV work and any industry-specific certifications.
