HGV Mechanic - Cardiff

Hourly Rate: £19.00 - £20.00 per hour
Overtime: Available at time and a half
Hours: 4 on 4 off | Day shift - 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM
Location: Cardiff

Your Responsibilities:

• Routine maintenance and servicing of HGVs to VOSA standards.
• MOT preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards.
• Maintaining accurate records and completing paperwork efficiently.

What You Need to Succeed:

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics (or equivalent).
• Experience working in a fleet or dealership environment.
• HGV licence is beneficial but not essential.
• Good diagnostic skills and ability to work in a busy workshop.
