Job description

Job Title: Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice

Location: Monkspath (Solihull) Distribution Centre

We are seeking to recruit a Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice for a permanent full-time position. The role involves working shifts from 08:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.

Pay, Working Hours & Benefits:

  • Starting at £6.40 per hour (first year / 16 & 17-year-olds)
  • Increasing annually through the apprenticeship: £8.60 (second year / 18-20-year-olds), £10.76 (third year), £11.99 (fourth year)
  • Fully qualified after four years - £20.70 per hour

The Apprenticeship:
