Job summary

A vehicle support company is seeking a full-time experienced HGV workshop mechanic. Responsibilities include servicing and maintaining a large fleet and customer vehicles, performing repairs, and ensuring a clean workshop. Candidates should be skilled with modern diagnostic equipment, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to work under pressure. Class 1 licence and MOT inspector certification are desirable. Shift work and overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and experienced in HGV mechanics.
• Class 1 licence is an advantage.
• MOT inspector status is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct servicing and maintenance for a large fleet.
• Perform repairs and MOT preparation.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free workshop environment.

Job description

We require a full-time experienced & qualified self-motivated HGV workshop / commercial mechanic based at either our Kidderminster or Worcester depot.

Duties will include carrying out servicing and maintenance of our large fleet and customer vehicles, including repairs, mot preparation and ensuring the workshop is kept in a hazard free, clean environment.

You must be converse with all modern diagnostic equipment, have excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure using your own initiative
