Job summary

A local vehicle support company in Stourport-on-Severn seeks an experienced full-time HGV workshop/commercial mechanic for servicing and maintaining their large fleet and customer vehicles. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be knowledgeable in modern diagnostic equipment, and be able to work under pressure. Class 1 licence and MOT inspector qualification are advantageous. Shift work and overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with experience in HGV workshop.
• Conversant with modern diagnostic equipment.
• Class 1 licence preferred, MOT inspector an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of fleet vehicles.
• Ensure workshop is clean and hazard-free.
• Repairs and MOT preparation as required.

Job description

We require a full-time experienced & qualified self-motivated HGV workshop / commercial mechanic based at either our Kidderminster or Worcester depot.

Duties will include carrying out servicing and maintenance of our large fleet and customer vehicles, including repairs, mot preparation and ensuring the workshop is kept in a hazard free, clean environment.

You must be converse with all modern diagnostic equipment, have excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure using your own initiative

Class 1 licence an advantage
