Salary: £22 per hour. Overtime is available and paid at a time and a half.



Shift:

* Monday to Friday
* 22:00–06:30 (flexible, e.g., 20:00–04:30)
* 30-minute break (unpaid)



Example OTE (based on £22ph and working 16 hours a month overtime paid at time and a half): £52,096 PA



Silver Arrow are currently recruiting for a HGV Mechanic to work for our client based in Stoke-on-Trent on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leading company, with excellent working conditions and benefits.





Your Role:

* Interpret instructions from the job card/repair order and comply with repair instructions
* Attend training and keep abreast of the latest technical information
* Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults
* Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition
* Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
* Abide with good health and safety practices and all statutory requirements, including company policies

What we need from you:

* Level 3 City and Guilds in an equivalent sector (desirable)
* main dealership experience is essential.
* HGV 1 or 2 licence (desirable)
* You will need to have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and great communication skills.
* Full Clean Driving Licence
