x1.5 overtime rate

x2 Sundays rate

Hours: 06:00 - 14:30 Mon to Fri week 1, rotating to 13:30 - 22:00 in week 2 (Mon - Thurs) & (Fri 11:30 - 20:00)

Location: Sheffield

What will you be doing?

• Repair and maintain the Veolia fleet according to manufacturer and industry standards
• Run diagnostics on vehicles with various equipment
• Perform hydraulic, electrical, pneumatics diagnostics and repairs
• Complete general work as required by the Workshop Management Team
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and ensure safety for yourself and others
• Accurately complete paperwork and timesheets
• Carry out HGV MOT inspections and preparations (IRTEC Licence preferred, training available)
• Perform roadside repairs when necessary (training provided)

What we're looking for:

• Experience as a Mechanical Fitter/HGV Technician, ideally with an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification; automotive or plant trades considered
• Understanding of health and safety requirements
• HGV driving licence (preferred but not essential)
• Own a comprehensive toolkit (diagnostic equipment and specialised tools provided by Veolia)
