Job summary

A leading vehicle maintenance company is seeking a skilled HGV workshop/commercial mechanic. The role involves servicing and maintaining a large fleet and customer vehicles, ensuring repairs and preparation for MOTs while keeping the workshop clean and safe. Candidates with a Class 1 licence or MOT inspector qualifications will have an advantage. Shift work and overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in servicing and maintenance of vehicles.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Class 1 licence is an advantage. MOT inspector is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of a large fleet of vehicles.
• Perform repairs and MOT preparation.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free workshop environment.

Job description

We require a full-time experienced & qualified self-motivated HGV workshop / commercial mechanic based at either our Kidderminster or Worcester depot.

Duties will include carrying out servicing and maintenance of our large fleet and customer vehicles, including repairs, mot preparation and ensuring the workshop is kept in a hazard free, clean environment.

You must be converse with all modern diagnostic equipment, have excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure using your own initiative
