We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic to join our client's workshop in Waltham Point. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicle makes and models.

HGV Mechanic responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

HGV Mechanic requirements:

• Experience as a vehicle Mechanic and a relevant, up-to-date qualification in HGV maintenance and repair level 3.
• A person who takes great pride in their work.
• Incredible attention to detail and an eye for spotting issues others cannot.
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans.
• Ability to demonstrate technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
