Job summary

A vehicle maintenance company in Droitwich Spa is seeking a qualified and experienced full-time HGV workshop mechanic to perform servicing and repairs on a large fleet and customer vehicles. Candidates should be skilled with modern diagnostic equipment and able to work under pressure. Class 1 license and MOT inspector certification are advantageous. Shift work and overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HGV workshop mechanic.
• Class 1 license preferred.
• MOT inspector certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and maintenance on large fleet and customer vehicles.
• Carry out repairs and ensure compliance with MOT standards.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free workshop environment.

Skills

Experience with HGV vehicles

Job description

We require a full-time experienced & qualified self-motivated HGV workshop / commercial mechanic based at either our Kidderminster or Worcester depot.

Duties will include carrying out servicing and maintenance of our large fleet and customer vehicles, including repairs, mot preparation and ensuring the workshop is kept in a hazard free, clean environment.

You must be converse with all modern diagnostic equipment, have excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure using your own initiative
