Location: Doncaster
Salary: £17.10 per hour
Days of Employment: Monday to Friday
Contracted Hours: Average 48 hours per week
Working Hours: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities as an HGV Mechanic:
  • Inspect, report, repair, and service trailers, vehicles, and factory transport
  • Conduct pre-MOT checks to DVSA/VOSA standards
  • Complete all necessary paperwork related to maintenance and inspections
  • Perform any additional tasks as required to support the transport department
What We’re Looking For in an HGV Mechanic:
  • Licence: Full UK Driving Licence – HGV Class C+E licence is essential
  • Qualifications: City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field
  • Experience: Previous HGV mechanical experience required
  • Skills: Excellent mechanical diagnostic ability and strong attention to detail
  • Safety Awareness: Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices
  • Team Player: Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
  • Time Management: Able to effectively manage workload and meet deadlines
