Job summary

A leading vehicle support company in Cheltenham is seeking an experienced and qualified self-motivated HGV workshop/commercial mechanic. You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a large fleet and customer vehicles, preparing them for MOT inspections, and ensuring a clean workshop environment. A Class 1 license and MOT inspector qualifications are advantageous for this full-time position. Opportunities for shift work and overtime are available.

Qualifications

• Experience and qualification as an HGV mechanic.
• Ability to carry out repairs and maintenance on vehicles.
• Class 1 license and MOT inspector qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain a large fleet and customer vehicles.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.
• Ensure the workshop is clean and hazard-free.

Job description

We require a full-time experienced & qualified self-motivated HGV workshop / commercial mechanic based at either our Kidderminster or Worcester depot.

Duties will include carrying out servicing and maintenance of our large fleet and customer vehicles, including repairs, mot preparation and ensuring the workshop is kept in a hazard free, clean environment.

You must be converse with all modern diagnostic equipment, have excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure using your own initiative
