Job description

HGV Mechanic/Vehicle Technicianrequired inChelmsford. We are recruiting for a keen and enthusiastic candidate to join our clients team. Relevant commercial vehicle repair and maintenance andCategory C Licencerequired for this role.

Working Days:Monday to Friday

Hours:37 hours per week

The Role:

• Preparing vehicles for annual testing
• Performing routine services and inspections on all vehicles
• Carrying our breakdown repairs
• MOT Testing and assisting with roadside repairs
• Ensuring the workshop is kept clean and tidy
• Flexibility on working hours is key for the role

The successful candidate requires:

• Holds a category C licence
• City and Guilds Motor Vehicle Technology Parts 1, 2 and 3 (or equivalent)
• Experience in assessing vehicles to meet deadlines
• Previous experience working with HGV vehicles is desirable
