Job Overview

Our client is a market leading dealership with sites throughout South Wales.

They currently have positions available in NEWPORT, CARDIFF & SWANSEA for Level 3 qualified technicians. They have HGV and LGV positions available.

Main Purpose of Job:

Responsible for the mechanical and electrical repair, preventative maintenance, and modification of vehicles.

Key Tasks:

1. Carry out preventative maintenance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
2. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all vehicles and related ancillary equipment, replacing parts as necessary in line with company and legislative requirements.
3. Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation to the required standard.
4. Provide on-the-job training for other Technicians/Trainees as required.
5. Continuously identify possible warranty claims and escalate these to the appropriate person.

Qualifications:
