Job summary

Manchetts Group Holdings Ltd in Newmarket, UK, is seeking an experienced LCV/HGV Technician to join our service team. You will perform DVSA-standard inspections and repairs, diagnose faults with computer tools, and liaise with the Parts Department to ensure timely repairs.

Experience in a franchise dealership is preferred; a Class 1 or 2 HGV license is a bonus. The role offers a friendly environment, on-site parking and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Good diagnostic skills and enjoyment of problem-solving.
• Experience working within a Franchise Dealership.
• City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections and repairs to DVSA standards.
• Fault diagnosis using computer technology and mechanical knowledge.
• Liaise with Parts Department as required.
• Service and repair vehicles per manufacturer guidelines and times.
