Job summary

Mc Allister, a Vortex Companies, is recruiting HGV / Jet Vac Drivers to join our Northern Ireland team. This role involves operating high-pressure jetting equipment on HGVs to clear blockages in drains and sewer networks, and working closely with colleagues and customers to deliver excellent results.

Requirements include a current HGV license and a full UK driving licence; CSR card is welcome but not essential as it can be provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Current HGV licence (UK)
• Full UK driving licence
• CSR card (not essential, company can provide)
• Previous experience as a HGV Jetvac Operator or similar role preferred
• All employees must comply with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements with training provided

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment on HGVs to clear blockages in drains, sewers, and pipework
• Work closely with colleagues and customers to deliver excellent results
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting faults promptly
• Operate HGV-mounted vacuum and tanker units for drainage and water management tasks
• Support reactive and scheduled works, including emergency callouts
