Job summary

Vortex Companies in Northern Ireland is recruiting HGV / Jet Vac Drivers to join our operations team. You will operate vacuum tankers and high‑pressure water jetting equipment, carry out drainage and sewer maintenance, and work closely with colleagues and customers to deliver high‑quality service.

No overnight stays required; this is a permanent role with progression opportunities. Full training will be provided, and benefits include 28 days leave, private health care, life assurance, a company

Qualifications

• Experience with high‑pressure jetting equipment is beneficial, but full training will be provided.
• Current HGV licence is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with customers.

The Role

• Operate vacuum tankers and high-pressure water jetting equipment
• Carry out drainage, sewer and environmental maintenance works
• Work closely with colleagues and customers to deliver excellent results
• No staying away required
• A secure and permanent position with opportunities for progression.

Experience & Training

• Previous experience with high-pressure jetting equipment and drainage networks would be beneficial, but full training will be provided for successful candidates.

Essential Requirements

• Current HGV licence

Desirable Requirements

• CSR card (not essential, as this can be provided by the company)
• All employees will be expected to comply with all Group Health Safety Quality and Environmental compliance. Full training will be provided as part of a Group Induction Training package.
