Job summary

Logistics UK is seeking a seasoned HGV Inspection Engineer to join our Vehicle Inspection Team across London. This field-based role focuses on audits and inspections rather than repairs, helping members stay compliant and understand regulatory changes.

You will visit sites in Essex and East London daily, build relationships with major logistics operators, and deliver practical, cost-effective solutions while maintaining data security.

Qualifications

• Fully trained HGV or MHE engineer with relevant qualifications.
• Experience performing vehicle inspections to IRTEC standards.
• Valid car licence with workshop experience and PSV/PCV knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise inspections and audits with high standards.
• Carry out inspections safely and meet productivity targets.
• Complete reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain electronic systems and protect data security.
• Engage with members to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Attend trainings and assist Regional Operations Manager as needed.
