Are you a skilled HGV Fitter or Vehicle Technician looking to join a dynamic team in the Plant Hire industry? We have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to maintain and inspect their fleet of commercial vehicles, primarily Scania and Volvo tippers, grab waggons, and low loaders.

Your Role:
As an HGV Fitter / Vehicle Technician, you will be at the forefront of keeping our client's fleet in prime condition. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing and Repairing Faults: Accurately identify issues with commercial vehicles and carry out effective repairs.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections every six weeks to ensure vehicles are road-worthy and compliant.
  • Ad hoc Duties: Assist with on-road call-outs and other tasks as directed by the Workshop Manager.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: Proven experience in the diagnosis, maintenance, servicing, and repair of commercial vehicles.
  • Technical Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and diagnostic tools.

  • Licences: A full UK driving licence is essential. Possession of an HGV licence is a bonus!
