Fusion-People-Lt is seeking a Mechanical Fitter (Raft Fitter) for an ongoing contract near Burton upon Trent. The role is based in Barton Under Needwood, Staffordshire, with a contract length of 6 months minimum. Working hours are 7am-4pm Monday-Thursday and 7am-1pm Friday, with own transport recommended.

Ideal candidates have experience as HGV fitters or heavy plant fitters, with hydraulic experience. You will install/repair hydraulic systems, fault find, and work from schematic drawings,

Qualificações

• Candidates with experience in heavy vehicle or plant fit-out and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to fault find and diagnose hydraulic and mechanical issues.
• Understanding schematic drawings and interpreting technical diagrams.

Responsabilidades

• Repair or install hydraulic systems and perform vehicle/component repairs.
• Fault finding and diagnostic investigation work.
• Overhaul raft components and understand related wiring/schematics.
• Mentor trainees when applicable and follow safety procedures.

Our Client based in the Burton on Trent area are looking forMechanical Fitters for an ongoing contract.

Ideal candidates would beexperienced HGV fitters / Heavy Plant Fitters with Hydraulic experience

Responsibilities

• To have a good understanding of vehicle mechanical interfaces and repairs of vehicle components.
• To be able to install / repair hydraulic systems.
• To be able to fault find and carry out diagnostic investigation work.
• Previous engine knowledge would be advantageous.
• To overhaul of raft components.
• To be able to understand schematic drawings.
• To undertake training as and when required.
• To work within a realistic timeframe.
• To mentor trainees / apprentices when applicable.
• To ensure that waste is disposed of in the correct manner.
• To adhere to written or verbal instructions.
